I’m a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist supporting children, teens, adults, and families since 2012. I help clients navigate anxiety, overwhelm, trauma, behavioural challenges, and life transitions with clarity, steadiness, and practical support.

I aim to create a space where you can be honest about what’s going on and feel supported in figuring out what comes next. Therapy is collaborative, grounded, and focused on meaningful, real-life change.

With children and teens, I incorporate play, creativity, and nervous system regulation to support emotional processing and skill-building. Parent support is an important part of the process.

With teens and adults, sessions may include EMDR, practical coping tools, and insight-oriented work to address both immediate concerns and deeper patterns.

My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, integrating EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, and attachment-focused perspectives, always tailored to what feels most helpful and manageable.

Mackenzie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, stress, and feeling stretched too thin. She offers a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and exploring what is going on beneath the surface.

You might be someone others rely on. The one who keeps things together, gets things done, and pushes through. But underneath, you may feel anxious, constantly overthinking, or like you can’t slow down. If you are tired of running on empty, therapy can be a place to pause, make sense of what you are feeling, and find a more sustainable way forward.

Many of the clients she works with are high-achieving or high-functioning, yet struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, or burnout. From the outside, things may look fine, while internally it can feel exhausting to keep up.

Her approach is client-centred, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Adlerian therapy to support self-awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and paced in a way that feels manageable, helping you feel more grounded and connected to yourself.

Mackenzie has a background in education and experience working closely with adolescents, shaping her understanding of the challenges teens and young adults face today.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), she practices under clinical supervision and is committed to ongoing learning and professional development.

She offers virtual therapy across Ontario, including evening and weekend availability.

If this resonates, you are welcome to reach out or book a consultation. She would be happy to connect
